Q: Should I bring anything to my appointment?
A: Yes, for your alterations appointment please bring your shoes or any undergarments you plan to wear under your gown. It is important to bring these items to every fitting in order to ensure the perfect fit.
Q: Who should I bring to my appointment?
A: The bridal gown alterations experience is a very personal and joyous time before your special day. This is a time for you to focus and realize how you truly want to look for your partner-to-be on your wedding day. Bringing an entourage may sound like fun, but it can take away from the importance of the decisions you have to make. We encourage you to bring one or two guests of friends or family members that are dearest to you may want to share in the adventure.
Q: When is a good time to start my wedding gown alterations?
A: Deborah's Bridal offers professionally skilled in-house seamstresses and tailors to provide alterations for all our customers. This is a service we offer for brides and and their families who have purchased at any Bridal Salon. We recommend starting your wedding gown or formal wear alterations 8 to 10 weeks before the wedding. Some brides may begin booking even earlier.
Q: Is an appointment necessary to alter my wedding gown or formal wear?
A: It is highly recommended. With an appointment, we can maximize your appointment time and your experience and focus on helping you through the decision making process. We always welcome walk-ins (based on availability) and deliver the same quality service to each of our customers.
Q: Are there wedding gowns available for immediate sale?
A: Yes, we have wedding gowns that we can sell off the floor and usually at great savings. The majority of designer gowns need to be special ordered and there is a rush delivery that is offered for the brides who do not have the normal 5 or 6 months to order a dress. The time and rush fee will vary by designer.
Q: Are children and babies allowed?
A: We love children and are parents ourselves however, we are a special service salon where both the bride and our staff want to remember and create a once in a lifetime experience for our customer. Children 13 and older capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in their provided seating area if brought to the store. It is recommended to please not bring babies or children under the age of 13 to the bridal salon. If you cannot comply with this policy you may be asked to reschedule. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was also created with your child's safety in mind. Please understand that our concern is the safety of your child. We sincerely hope that you will aid us in keeping our salon a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to enjoy.
